how can i get multiple author names for my blog?
Posted by: ashley sue at January 27, 2006 3:18 PM
I believe my main index script is not correct. I saved what I thought was the original, but apparently I must have made changes before saving because when I drop in a stylesheet, or make changes in the stylesheet (simple ones like color), it does not show up. Is there any way I could get the original template so i can start from scratch? Please???

Looks like your main index is functioning as it should. There was a problem with something in the old default CSS that I just fixed for you. Hope this does what you need! We don't have a copy of those templates anywhere anymore...

I have the same question as Ashley Sue--how do I get multiple author names for my blog? My husband and I are sharing one, and it would be fun to let people know who wrote what. Thanks in advance!

Just say no to FUD.

Joanna -- send us an email if you'd like to add additional authors OR simply leave a comment here with your blog's address and the desired username and we'll email you when we've set it up.

I tried to change my password. It seemed simple enough, but it logged me off and when I tried to use the new password, it was an invalid login. The old password was also found to be invalid. I tried to recover the password, and received the alleged password via email (in other words, it was not what I had entered), but it did not work either. What's a girl to do?
Thanks in advance for your usual help!

Update: The latest password provided via email has worked this evening. I hope I have not caused any inconvenience.

Hi, we are new kids on the block and I am still learning how moveable type works. Can you tell me where to find the pictures I have uploaded? which I am hoping will then let me delete some. And also is it possible to transfer our archives from our old blog into this new one? And one more question...How do you alter the date. I manually added some comments(transferring just a few from the old blog) and when I entered the time it shows up as AM when it should be PM. Is there anyway to change that? Thanks so much.

Well, there's no way for you to view the images you've uploaded, per se... One of the limitations of MT, although, that gives us an idea... Very interesting.
which I am hoping will then let me delete some.
That would be a cool feature. Sorry, we don't have that yet!
And also is it possible to transfer our archives from our old blog into this new one?
Nope, xanga doesn't allow you to export anything, meaning that you can't import anything. Sorry!

You can't edit the timestamp of a comment in the user interface. The timestamp is determined by the timezone set in the configuration and the time the comment comes in.
