This is Oriel. I know I, like my collegues, have been pretty bad at making entries in our blogs and attracting traffic, etc. And now I want to do it more and I can't even remember how to get in and how to post or change our blog or anything. It seems that I lost my username and password and I wouldn't know how to dress up the place when I get through the door either. I guess I'm just asking, Can I still be part of your empire? and if I could just get some instruction, I'd be much obliged. Thanks in advance.

jeremy huggins here. wondering if you could do a favor? my fiance rachel and i would like to use her current baltiblogs page as an information page for our wedding. is it possible to change the current URL from listlistolist.baltiblogs.com to thewedding.baltiblogs.com?

if so, would you mind doing that for us when you can, as i can't seem to figure out how to do it.

Your fiance's blog has been changed to the new url, thewedding.baltiblogs.com. All traffic to the old url should be redirected to the new url as well.

I can't boast of a terrablog yet, but I do have a question still. I'm a member of a Covenant College committee to plan a conference on spirituality in the fall. we're thinking we'd like to set up a weblog to keep people abreast and prepared for the conference with thoughts and exhortations, possibly including a podcast. can terrablogs support podcasts? I know so little about these interactive possibilities; I need some guidance if you can give it.

2)When I try to put vertical pictures on the blog it uploads them as horizontal. Case and point: the ballerina entry. My daughter is sideways. How do I upload a vertical photo so that it STAYS vertical.

I echo what Laela says about posting and it not showing up on the portal page for quite some time. I posted something at 12:15 and 30 minutes later it still doesn't show up. And it doesn't appear to be a browser thing since I checked on both IE and firefox. Any clue?

Charlotte, Terrablogs can "handle" podcasts in the sense that you can have them in your RSS feeds & linked to etc. But we do not provide hosting space for mp3's, at least not yet. We may have something going as soon as we have a new server.

Uploaded photos are not rotated when uploaded. To say that you want them to "stay vertical" is not really the correct assumption, because nothing happens in any way to alter the rotation of an image when you upload. It has to have already been in that orientation. It sounds to me like the software that accompanies your camera displays the photo in the "correct" orientation without actually rotating the image. It probably does this with data provided by the camera's gyro. So, despite it displaying fine for you, the pixels in the file are not actualy saved in the desired orientation. That's my theory.

Thanks Ben for the help before! I am not sure what happend, but I can successfully log in now. I have another small problem, and I promise I will stop bothering you guys. Now, when I create an entry it goes directly to the archive and does not show up in Recent entries, so it doesn't look like I have added anything. Can you help me understand why it is doing that?
